Assaulting a vehicle in an urban environment?

Our department was faced with a high risk stop on a vehicle where the occupants were convicted felons and known to have weapons. We staged a fake accident and re-routed all traffic. Our SWAT team then made our move when the vehicle had to stop for a red light. Another police car behind made sure there was space to the rear.
