Who is the most successful "bad" writer?

Stephenie Meyer. I loved Twilight the first time I read it. But the second time around I realized that despite my personal love for the plot the quality of the writing isn't actually all that good. I notice the books have numerous grammatical errors as well which at this point makes them impossible for me to read.
